Welcome to Silver Saddles Riding Club Website.

 

Silver Saddles Riding Club was founded by horse lovers and riders as a social club and  an affiliate with the South African Equestrian Federation as a registerred equestrian club.

 

Our aim and objectives are to:

 

• Protect the interest of all horses, horse ownders and riders in the Waterbert area.

• Preserve the tradition of horse riding in the Waterberg area, thereby supporting the long-term planning and preservation of a rural atmosphere.

• Promote and develop the sport of horsemanship within the Waterberg area, and South Africa where appropriate.

• Within its means the Club shall create and provide for the benefit of its members any such amenities, facilities and equipment as are reasonably required to furhter its objects.

• Promote and encourage development and upliftment of previously disadvantaged indivuduals and disabled riders.

• Promote and encourage provincial horses and riders and especially team members, by being an affiliated body of the SAEF and its successor bodies.

 

Our plans for 2015 include a Western Show Event, a couple of fun rides and friendly competitions as well as a club getaway with a lot of horse riding and fun!

 

Why should you join Silver Saddles Riding Club?  Firstly if you love horses and would like to socialise with like minded families this is your club.  On the professional side we support and assist all members whith provincial, qualifiers and national competitions .
